I had my first meeting for the CFC today. It's a campaign to raise money for 3600 charities through federal employee donations. Amazingly it raised 59.9 million last year. Pretty cool to be a part of it -- Just pile on the responsibility!! I can take it!
It should be pretty cool, I'll get to meet all kinds of people in the USPTO because I need to go and beg them for money. Unfortunately, I had to miss part of a lecture to go the the CFC meeting today, but I'll catch up, don't worry about it.

It's actually CFCNCA, Combined Federal Campaign for the National Capital Area.
